How to reset the Administrator password for version 4 of the Helm Control Panel
Occasionally, passwords can become lost or misplaced. Version 4 of the Helm Control Panel makes it easy to reset your Administrator password should it ever become lost.
Open the Helm Configuration Tool, which can be accessed via the icon placed on the desktop, or by navigating to Start à Run. Once the Run dialog box is open, copy and paste the following command:
C:\Program Files\WebHost Automation\Helm4\Tools\HelmConfigurationTool.exe
Once entered, click OK. The Helm Configuration Tool should now open.
Scroll down the menu on the left side of the window, and click the System Databases button.
Under the Admin Password Reset heading, enter your desired Administrator password for the Helm Control Panel. Once entered, click Apply, and then OK.
You should now be able to log into the Helm Control Panel as ‘admin’ with the updated password.
